The Local Government Unit of the Municipality of Loon commemorated the 126th Philippine Independence Day in simple rites at the Loon Municipal Plaza in the early morning of June 12, 2024.
Vice Mayor Lloyd Peter M. Vmlloyd Lopez MD (representing Loon Mayor Elvi Peter L. Relampagos) headed the LGU officials and employees, composed of the members of the 15th Sangguniang Bayan, department heads, and Loon SKMF officals and staff, in the commemoration, which banners the theme: “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan. “
Officials and personnel of locally-based national line agencies including the Philippine National Police (PNP), 702nd Manuever Company, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Comelec actively participated in the celebration.
The 67 barangay local government units in the municipality of Loon also held their respective 126th Independence Day commemoration rites simultaneously at 7:00 a.m.
