LGU-Loon undergone DILG VII Auditing for Ease of Doing Business (EODB) and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act Compliance (RA 11032)

April 25, 2025 | The audit team was composed of DILG VII LGCDD Chief Maria Thelya Oporto, DILG VII EODB Focal Janice Contado, DILG Bohol EODB Focal Jed Ighot, and Alternate Focal Faye Arielle Oliquino.

The auditing was focused on evaluating the performance of local government units (LGUs) to pinpoint specific areas for technical assistance. By identifying these needs, the LGU-Loon aims to enhance capabilities, ensuring that public service delivery becomes more efficient and effective for our communities. Strengthening these foundations is essential for fostering a responsive and responsible governance system that truly meets the needs of every citizen.

The audit process included interviews, document reviews, focus group discussions, and coaching sessions with the Municipal Committee on Anti-Red Tape (CART), which includes representatives from key offices such as the Business Permits and Licensing Office, Office of the Building Official, Treasurer’s Office, Assessor’s Office, Sangguniang Bayan Secretariat, and Health Office.
