Municipality of Loon Vice Mayor Lloyd Peter M. Lopez, MD, with Loon Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer (MSWDO) Ma. Marnelli L. Maquindang, Social Welfare Officer Assistant Oliver C. Algusar and Local Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Officer (LDRRMO) Marina M. Loquinte (standing, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th from right respectively), provided burial assistance amounting to Five Thousand Pesos (P5,000.00) to Mr. and Mrs. Jaime – Annabel Visperas, Jr., the parents of Jonnabel Visperas, their 3-year old child who tragically passed away after being bitten by a venomous snake (cobra) locally called as “banakon”. The cash assistance was given at 10:30 a.m. on October 23, 2024 at the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office.
